1. How do I register for class?
Book class online in advance via our Booking Page. We no longer accept drop-in on the day.
Our class is 2 hours and the price is £15. See Pricing for more detail.
Once you have booked your space online, just turn up on the day and bring your booking reference with you. One of our team members will take register at the beginning of the session.
* We currently run a reduced schedule with limited class capacity to stay in line with social distancing guidelines. Early booking is highly recommended as classes will likely sell out faster than before. Please also check our Covid-19 measures page prior to making any booking for more information.
2. Where are the classes?
Our classes are currently run at the Dance Studio at City of Westminster College 25 Paddington Green, London W2 1NB.
The Dance studio is located on the 2nd Floor of the building, NW corridor. Upon arrival please sign your name at the reception desk and the security team will be able to direct you to the studio.
* There will be a one-way in and out of the building within the public area before the barriers, all visitors are asked to use the hand sanitiser from the wall dispensers on arrival. There are also hand sanitiser dispensers on every floor of the building and we will be providing hand sanitiser within the studio.
3. I am a complete beginner, am I able to take class?
Yes, absolutely! All beginners are welcome to join our classes. No prior dance experience is required. We will teach you!
4. Do you teach the whole routine in one class?
We currently do not teach the whole routine in one class. One-off class will cover only a section of the song. The instructor will adjust how much to cover depending on the pace of class. We value quality of the student experience over how much we teach.
5. Will you teach the whole song?
Depending on popularity of the songs, we may cover some songs in full, spreading over 2-3 classes. Please check class details on the booking page.
Other one-off classes are taught in workshop style and will only cover the main part of the song (usually the chorus section).
6. How hard are the classes?
As K-Pop tends to vary greatly depending on the artists and style. The difficulty of our K-Pop classes will depend on the specific song. Our instructors will break down the choreography as much as we can and will go over to help you understand better. We value the quality of class over how much choreography we can cover. Questions are more than welcome in class because the class is for you and about you after all. And don't worry we have all been there, it is almost guaranteed there will be someone else in class in the same boat as you :)
Our other choreography and technique classes are all level. Both beginners and improvers are welcome.
7. What should I bring to class?
Comfortable clothing, bottle of water, towels (if needed) and eagerness to learn. Leave the rest to us!
8. I am under 18s, can I still join?
There is no age limit to our classes but we will require parental consent for those under 18s prior to you booking & attending the class. Please contact us in advance via firstname.lastname@example.org.
* Due to our Covid-19 measures, there is a temporary age limit of 12 years and over only for all class participants.
9. Will class be filmed?
Classes will be filmed and videos will be posted on our social media channels (Instagram, YouTube). If for any reason you don't want to be in the videos (or if parents/ guardians don't want their child to be in the videos) please let our instructor know in advance.
However, please note if such requests were not made clear at the time of class, we are unable to take down/ delete videos from our social media afterwards. We reserve the rights to use all class materials (videos, photos, etc.) for the promotion of K.ARC Dance.
10. Booking Terms & Conditions
*Amendment and Cancellation Policies:
3 days before class: You can amend your class booking online up to 3 days before class start time. You have options to either transfer ticket to another class or cancel your booking for a full refund within these 3 days. With less than 3 days notice, you however cannot make changes to your booking.
2 days before class: We understand emergency happens, therefore we will offer class credit (subject to further Terms and Conditions below) to use for future classes if you let us know more than 2 days before the class starts.
Less than 2 days before class: No amendment or cancellation is allowed.
If you fail to turn up to a class (no show) without prior notice, we are unable to offer class credit or refund.
Latecomers (more than 10 minutes after the start of the class) will not be admitted to class.
If a class is cancelled by K.ARC dance, you will be offered either a full refund or the option of being transferred to class credit or to an alternative event.
Valid for 6 months from the initial booking date.
Standard limit of 1 transfer per individual class booking. We reserve the right to cancel your booking without refund if you exceed our transfer limit.
No credits will be given for cancellation notices less than 2 days before class start time or no-shows.
You can only transfer your class credit to another class of similar value or less, no refund will be made for the difference if you decide to transfer to a class of lower value than the original booking.
Credit transfer only applies to our regular weekly class and excludes class passes, special guest workshops and events, etc.
When booking our class online:
You agree to comply with our Covid-19 measures. Please check our Covid-19 measures page for more information. Please note, we currently unable to accommodate those with underlying health conditions that may keep them from complying with our Covid-19 measures.
You agree for your information to be stored by us and to be contacted by NHS Track and Trace should any incident arises.
Any person who participates in dance classes provided by K.ARC Dance shall do so at his/ her own risk. He/ she shall assume all risks involved, including but not limited to: all loss or stolen property, cost, claim, injury, damage or liability sustained while participating. K.ARC Dance will not be held liable for any misfortune that may occur.
By attending a K.ARC Dance class, you are agreeing to the above and are certifying that you are in good health and have consulted a doctor if required before attending a class.
IMPORTANT: Covid Measures Period Waiver
Participation includes possible exposure to illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to Covid-19. Whilst our protocols and personal discipline may reduce Covid-19 risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist. Participant assume full responsibility for their own participation by booking. They knowingly and freely assume all such risks both known and unknown even if arising from the negligence of K ARC Dance or others.
By booking class, participant willingly agree to comply with the stated terms, conditions and protocols regarding protection against infectious diseases. If participant observe any unusual hazard they will remove themselves and bring it to the attention of the nearest manager immediately.
And for the participant and any of their personal representatives hereby release and hold harmless K ARC Dance, their owners, staff and management and other participants with respect to illness, disability or death, or loss or damage to person or property whether arising from negligence or otherwise.
PARTICIPANT HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS AND LOSS OF RIGHTS, AND AGREE TO IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY.
* Please DO NOT attend class if you display symptoms of Covid-19, have tested positive for the virus and/ or have been contacted with infected person(s) within 14 days of the class. Please also notify our team immediately. Check our Covid-19 Measures page for more information.
